Malcolm Barclay
Malcolm is married with two children and started his career in the City and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1974. He formed his own accountancy practice in 1979 in Colchester. He soon realised the need to provide good financial planning advice to his clients especially if this could be linked into his knowledge of taxation. He therefore set up a separate company to deal with this aspect of the business. For approximately 10 years he acted as an appointed representative of Standard Life and then became an independent financial adviser. He prides himself on his personal relationship with his clients from which he can form detailed understanding of their future needs.
